Methodology

How a fact gets on a profile

  • We read the tool's own site: home page, pricing page, features and docs.
  • A price is the lowest paid monthly price shown on the pricing page. Yearly only prices are marked as such.
  • Each price carries the date we checked it.
  • MCP server and API are marked Yes only when the tool's site or docs say so. Otherwise they show Not yet verified.
  • Engines are listed only when the tool's own site names them.
  • We never use third party review sites, ratings, review counts or user counts.

How lists are ordered

Each list says at the top how it was ordered. In general we weigh the criteria the list is about, then engine coverage, MCP and API access, whether the tool acts as well as tracks, and the verified starting price. Where the data is equal, a tool with fully verified facts goes above one with gaps.

  • Enterprise lists lead with Profound and Conductor.
  • Lists for teams already on an SEO suite lead with Semrush and Ahrefs.

Links and money

  • Outbound links to tools are ordinary editorial links.
  • Sponsored placements, if we ever offer them, get a visible Sponsored label and a sponsored link attribute. No tool is sponsored today.
  • We do not trade links and we never require a link back.

Corrections

Prices move. If you see a stale or wrong fact, tell us. We recheck against the tool's site and update the date.
